Jewelry Pouch
I'm in a bit of a work and life funk. I've been injured for months, so running has been an unavailable stress reliever. To try to climb out of this funk, I just wanted to make something tonight. I haven't sewn anything pretty in a while, so I decided on a simple, functional jewelry pouch. When I change into workout clothes after work, my jewelry usually gets tossed somewhere into my purse. Sometimes I completely forget about them, and I'm worried that one day I'll lose them.
I had some leftover plaid flannel fabric from my shirt and it's pretty cool tonight, so I made a cozy, plaid flannel pouch. I picked up some remnant felt at Walmart the other day and decided to use it as padding. Not sure if it'll shrink when washed, but I guess I'll find out if I ever wash this thing. Until then, I think I'll enjoy this cute little thing.
Sewing didn't quite get me out of my funk, but when I wake up tomorrow morning, I'll see my cute jewelry pouch and be proud I made it instead of moping around the house :)
