Tank Top

Just before leaving for Japan, I picked up sewing again.  I don't remember why, but it's probably part of my seemingly constant need to find different media to express myself or create things.  Since then, I've sewn pretty much every day.  I'm not great at it, but I'm proud of that I've made at least a few things I'd wear out in public.  I want to document my sewing so that I can hopefully learn from my experiences and see progress eventually.  Here goes...

Project #1:  Tank top using thrifted fabric (turns out not very good quality)

It looks okay, but I had no idea arm holes could be so problematic.  In my defense, I wasn't using a pattern.  I just traced a tank top I wear a lot and tried to use that.  Guess a pattern is best for beginners.
